Rob Jeffery, who led Ovo Energy’s Public Affairs team for almost four years, has joined Field Consulting to set up a new energy practice. Having already established sector specialisms in housing and transport, Field will provide the same unique offering to energy clients. This combines the fresh, disruptive attitude of a small and rapidly growing agency with deep sector expertise.

During Rob’s time at OVO, now the UK’s largest independent energy supplier, he helped steer the business through the Competition and Markets Authority Energy Market Investigation and has long been championing the price cap which is now going through Parliament. Prior to joining OVO, Rob helped grow Edelman’s Public Affairs energy practice and before that worked for wind energy trade body RenewableUK.

Field Consulting was founded four years ago by Chris Rumfitt, former MD of Public Affairs at Edelman.
